Instructions: How to Submit Your Ear Impressions to us

Thank you for ordering with Inearz / Vusion Audio!
To produce your custom in-ear monitors, we require a professional ear impression of both ears. Please follow the steps below to complete this process.

Step 1: Schedule an Appointment with a local Hearing Specialist

Visit a certified audiologist or hearing specialist to have professional ear impressions made of both ears. Ask if they can:

  • Provide a digital scan of your impressions (preferably in .STL format)
    OR
  • Give you physical silicone impressions

We recommend contacting the specialist in advance and explaining that the impressions are for custom-fit in-ear monitors for musicians or audio professionals.

Step 2: Send Us Your Ear Impressions

Depending on the format of your impressions, you can send them as follows:

Digital impressions

  • Ask the audiologist to email the .STL files to:
    orders@vusionaudio.com
  • Include your full name and order number in the email.

Physical impressions

  • Pack the impressions carefully in a solid box to avoid damage.
  • Include a note with your full name, order number, and contact information.

  • Ship the package to:

Important: Do not send physical impressions in an envelope. The material may get crushed during transport.

Step 3: Confirmation & Production

Once we receive your impressions, we will confirm by email. Production of your custom IEMs will begin shortly after. You’ll receive an update as soon as your monitors are ready for shipment.

❗ Important Notes

  • Impressions must be no older than 6 months
  • The impression must include the second bend of the ear canal

  • The cost of the ear impression is your responsibility
