Pure silver plating can improve the high frequencies while more cores and strands can help improve the low frequencies and spatial definition. Eight braided core is twice that in most manufacturers standard cable and helps to ensure a more durable cable. The tight braided weave reduces any bulkiness for a comfortable over the ear feel.
